AODFCU’s Primary Share Account is required for membership with the credit union. This account requires a initial $0.75 deposit which makes you, the member, a part-owner of the credit union.
For safety and soundness of your savings, your deposits are federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA). In addition, AODFCU provides an additional $250,000 of insurance through Excess Share Insurance (ESI), a private insurer.
The $0.75 par value fee is not refundable during the first 90 days of account opening.
