Checking Accounts

The proper account format is 13 digits long, beginning with “1” plus your checking account ID/Suffix plus leading zero’s plus your short account number. The easiest way to determine the proper format is your look on the bottom of your check. If your account number is “12345” and your checking id is “71” then the format would be 1 + 71 + 00000 + 12345. This would result in the following number: 1710000012345.

Savings Accounts

The proper account format is 13 digits long, beginning with “1” plus your savings account ID/Suffix plus leading zero’s plus your short account number. If your account number is “12345” and your savings ID/Suffix is “00” then the format would be 1 + 00 + 00000 + 12345. This would result in the following number: 1000000012345.
