Power15K Campaign
The POWER15K automatically enters power transactions into the contest for a Grand Prize of $15,000 and a monthly drawing of $1,000. The campaign will run from January 1, 2012 until May 31, 2012.
P = Purchase a (mortgage , vehicle, or credit card) and receive ten (10) entries automatically
O = Open a Checking Account and receive three (3) entries automatically
W = WINNING changes are increased with every POWER transaction.
E = Enable eStatements and receive one (1) entry automatically
R = Refinance a mortgage, or vehicle from another institution and receive ten (10) entries automatically
Example:
If you purchase a new car, open a checking account, enables eStatements online, refinance a home from another institution, and get a new credit card then the total entries would be 10+3+1+10+10 or 34 entries. The more POWER transactions, the more entries you receive and the greater your chances of winning.
OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES
1. No purchase necessary to enter or to win. A purchase will not increase your odds. All federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
2. Eligibility. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the AOD Federal Credit Union “POWER” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to U.S. residents (excluding Puerto Rico), 19 years or older at the time of entry (18 years old if married). Employees of AOD Federal Credit Union (“AODFCU”) and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, and such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren.
3. How to enter. The Sweepstakes will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2012 and end at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
A No Purchase Necessary entry may be mailed to “POWER” Sweepstakes, c/o AOD Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 608 Bynum, AL 36253, containing the entrant’s name, address, and phone number on a 3x5 postcard. Only 1 entry per person by postcard. An entry must be received by AODFCU in the mail on or before May 31, 2012.
A member is automatically entered into the sweepstakes when the member purchases and refinances a vehicle loan they will receive 10 entries per loan, opening a checking account will entitle a member to 3 entries, and registration for eStatements will automatically create 1 entry. For example: A member who opens a checking account, refinances a vehicle, purchases a home, and enables eStatements would automatically receive 24 entries for the cash drawings which include the grand prize drawing.
AODFCU will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to mail failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware, and , US Mail, whether originating with sender or AODFCU. All entries become property of AODFCU and none will be returned. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted shall be determined by AODFCU in its sole discretion, and AODFCU reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.
Prize and Winner Selection:
4. Prizes and Odds. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive $15,000.
Four (4) Monthly Prize Winners will receive $1,000.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be selected at random from all entries electronically.
5. Winner Notification and Acceptance. The Sweepstakes Grand Prize winner will be notified on or about Friday, June 1, 2012. Monthly winners will be notified on or about the 1st of each month during the Sweepstake period.
An AODFCU employee will call the winner and will be called up to five times during regular business hours at the number provided and will leave no messages. Failure to reach winner during these calls may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner drawn. Winners will be required to visit AOD Federal Credit Union, located at 12 Elm Street, Oxford, AL in person, during regular business hours within five (5) days of being notified to claim prizes by providing proof of eligibility for prize won and completing and signing an affidavit of eligibility and a liability and publicity release. Failure of any Winner to timely visit AOD Federal Credit Union’s corporate office in person and sign and return any required affidavit and release, or to claim a prize or comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, will result in drawing Winner's disqualification and the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize. Winners may waive their right to receive prizes. Prizes are non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winner. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and AODFCU reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner's consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation the Internet, or further compensation. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of AOD Federal Credit Union.
6. Participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes. AOD Federal Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by AOD Federal Credit Union. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of AOD Federal Credit Union which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, AOD Federal Credit Union reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, AOD Federal Credit Union reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.
7. Sponsor. The AODFCU “POWER” Sweepstakes
(the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by AOD Federal Credit Union ("Sponsor"), whose decisions regarding all aspects of the Sweepstakes may be changed at anytime. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes.
